Jill Burnette is a third year law student at Wayne State University Law School. At Wayne Law, Jill has been an active member of the Wayne Student Bar Association Board of Governors for three years and has held an Executive Board Member position for the last two. She has thoroughly enjoyed building stronger connections between students and staff through her position. She also worked as a Student Attorney in 2015 for Wayne Law’s Transnational Environmental Law Clinic, which sparked her interest in the environmental field. Jill studied Psychology at the University of Michigan and received her Bachelors of Arts degree in 2014.
Jill is a Downriver native, growing up in Southgate and currently residing in Allen Park. She plans to pursue a career in estate planning and Probate Law. By assisting Downriver residents with their Last Will and Testaments and other estate planning documents, she hopes to give back to the community where she has grown up.
